Held by Solar Media, the third edition of the Large Scale Solar USA continued to focus on project-based customers in the US PV market where attendees from across America gathered to share solar practices and ideas.
During the event, Stelios highlighted Astronergy's dedication to fostering its green supply chain with the purpose of systematically and professionally connecting its key markets worldwide, and ensuring the company responds in a more timely manner to the changing needs of local markets. "Astronergy has successfully elevated 6 green suppliers, and integrated eco-friendly designs into its products, resulting in an annual reduction of 6,393 tons of carbon emissions. And in collaboration with PV CYCLE, the company has achieved 100% recycling rate of packaging, glass, and frame", Stelios added.
"Thailand Manufacturing Base has finished its update and is expected to produce 5GW wafers annually, and the wafer slicing capacity expansion project is planned to have a production capacity of 5GW to supply its PV cells and module production. Meanwhile, the construction of Turkey Manufacturing Base started in April this year and is supposed to put into production in the third quarter of this year, with fully-automated latest technology module production lines. And the construction of the USA Manufacturing Base is also active progressing."
In the opening quarter of 2023, the United States witnessed a groundbreaking milestone in solar energy with an unprecedented installation capacity of 6.1GW, signaling remarkable progress towards a sustainable future.
