From March 4th to March 6th, Astronergy participated in the NET ZERO MEA 2024 event held in Dubai and was excited to have the opportunity to share the excellent performance of its module products.
During the event, Astronergy was honored to receive the "Tier 1 Award". This recognition is not only a testament to the company's advancements in technology innovation but underscores its commitment to sustainable development and driving the global energy transition towards a greener future.
Mohammad Eleiwat, Senior Technical Manager MENA at Astronergy, introduced the company’s innovative Astronergy ASTRO N7 n-type TOPCon PV modules to the audience. Powered by TOPCon 4.0 cell technology, Astronergy ASTRO N7 boasts an impressive average cell efficiency of 26.15% in mass production. This makes the products an ideal choice for utility-scale solar plants with a power output of up to 620W. Moreover, by incorporating large-size rectangular silicon wafers, ASTRO N7 effectively reduces Balance of System (BOS) costs for customers, ensuring both efficiency and affordability.
In its commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, Astronergy has achieved a significant milestone by completing the industry's first zero-carbon factory, certified by TÜV Rheinland in 2023. Additionally, Astronergy has obtained carbon footprint certificates in 7 major markets, enhancing the eco-friendliness of its products. The company is actively engaged in global initiatives such as the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and the United Nations Global Compact's "Forward Faster" initiative, showcasing its social responsibility for addressing climate change.
The MEA region stands as a key market for Astronergy with abundant solar resources and remarkable growth potential. Astronergy aims to become a reliable module supplier for local businesses and anticipates a surge in solar projects supported by its high-efficiency PV modules.
