The ESG Global Leaders Conference, held from Oct 17 to Oct 19, is the largest domestic ESG event with strong international influence. Focuses on energy and dual-carbon, green finance, sustainable consumption, science and technology, public welfare and other cutting-edge issues, the conference intends to gather global sustainable development forces, promote exchanges among governments, enterprises, scholars and international organizations, and facilitate international consensus and cooperation in the fields of environment, society and corporate governance.
In a dialogue session, Ms. Huang shared Astronergy's practices in protecting employees' rights and interests. She stated that respecting employees' personal rights and interests is an essential option in the development process of an enterprise and a social obligation of a responsible enterprise.
Ms. Huang added that Astronergy is committed to creating a decent working environment and establishing an inclusive and diversified talent team. Astronergy also empowers women to improve their status and employees to grow in education and integrates employee development with corporate development.
In response to the fear of AI replacing jobs, Ms. Huang gave Astronergy's reaction that the company puts special emphasis on helping the development of digital talents, and by carrying out training in data analysis and informatization, it allows employees to master AI skills to improve their work efficiency and eliminate the panic of being replaced by AI.
As a female manager, Ms. Huang shared her opinions on female employees’ situations in the traditional manufacturing industry.
She said that Astronergy has never neglected the powers of female employees. The company has set the long-term development goal of promoting a 30% female share of technicians, a 40% female share of all employees, and a 30% female share of management by 2035.
At the same time, it provides parental leave and family care leave for female employees and offers free screening for cervical cancer and breast cancer for women every year.
She added that Astronergy has set up mother and baby nurseries for breastfeeding women, to create a healthy and comfortable environment for them in the workplace as much as possible.
