Da Mi Floating Solar Park, the first large-scale installation of floating solar PV modules in Vietnam, is spread over an area of 50 hectares, consisting of 143,940 Astronergy modules. Da Mi reservoir surface has a natural cooling effect, which keeps the module temperature within the technical limit and ensures the working efficiency. The project generates 70 million kWh of electricity average annual, which helps to provide clean energy for the national grid and meet the electricity demand of Binh Thuan. After one-year operation, all technical parameters exceeded the designed values. With Astronergy module’s guarantee for stable power generation, the project electricity generated in the first year reached 74.18 million kWh surpassing designed values by 6.12%.
