Hangzhou East Railway Station 10MW Rooftop Solar Power Station has installed a 10MW rooftop solar power station equipped with 44,000 solar photovoltaic panels. This impressive setup generates an annual output of 10 million kilowatt-hours, providing sustainable electricity for over 5,000 households and benefiting more than 20,000 individuals throughout the year. In comparison to traditional fossil fuel-based power generation, this solar power station achieves significant environmental savings. It helps conserve approximately 3,600 metric tons of standard coal each year, while also reducing carbon dioxide emissions by around 9,970 metric tons, sulfur dioxide emissions by about 300 metric tons, and dust emissions by approximately 2,700 metric tons. Additionally, it contributes to water conservation by saving approximately 20,000 metric tons of water annually.
