Astronergy showcased its advanced solar module solutions at The Solar Week Nigeria 2024 in Abuja on September 12. This annual event, now in its third edition, brings together industry stakeholders to exchange ideas and explore business opportunities.
During the event, Astronergy's African experts delivered a presentation highlighting the company's ASTRO N series module products that are specifically designed for utility-scale solar installations. Featured the company’s self-developed TOPCon 4.0 technology, the highest efficiency of Astronergy TOPCon cells in laboratory hits over 27.17%.
Astronergy remains dedicated to advancing solar energy development across Africa with its tailored PV solutions. Earlier this year, on July 25, Astronergy also participated in The Solar Week South Africa in Johannesburg.
According to Africa Solar Industry Association, Africa’s solar PV capacity increased by 16% in 2023, reaching a total of 3.7GW compared to 3.1GW in 2022. Astronergy has significantly contributed to significant solar projects across the continent, it used to offer PV modules for utility-scale installations, including a 177MW utility-scale solar station in Morocco, a 165.5MW solar plant in Egypt, and a 60MW solar station in Zambia.
