Astronergy won 190MW tender projects from two giant energy companies to provide solar power with n-type TOPCon PV modules.
The project by POWERCHINA, involves a 110MW installation exclusively equipped with 180,440 ASTRO N5 PV modules. Once operational, this project is expected to generate 190 million kWh of power annually, resulting in an estimated savings of 57,000 tons of standard coal per year compared to traditional coal-fired plants.
The 80MW mountainous "PV + Agriculture" initiative by CHINA HUANENG GROUP, is scheduled to connect to the grid by September this year. The project will make full use of the nearby orchard planting land, and integrate centralized PV installations with agricultural activities, covering approximately 2,800 acres.
Both POWERCHINA and CHINA HUANENG GROUP are prominent state-owned enterprises in China, with whom Astronergy maintains a longstanding partnership. The adoption of ASTRO N5 series products for these projects highlights Astronergy's proprietary n-type TOPCon 4.0 technology, offering superior performance in power generation, bifaciality, temperature coefficient, low-light performance, LID, and LeTID characteristics.
