Astronergy, a global leader in photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing, sponsored a successful webinar organised by Solarabic titled “Resilience in Renewable Energy: Shaping Saudi Arabia’s Energy Future.” The webinar, held on the Zoom platform, brought together speakers Hamza al-Titi, Project Manager at FAS Renewables; Haitham Wael Amro, Head of Business Development at AUS; and Mohammed Arabiat, Regional Sales Manager at Astronergy, along with a large audience from across the Arab world.
The webinar highlighted Saudi Arabia’s pivotal role in driving the renewable energy sector. Speakers emphasised the Kingdom’s significant infrastructure investments, which are aligned with its ambitious Vision 2030, which aims to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2060. The webinar highlighted the Kingdom’s initiatives to establish green cities like NEOM and the Red Sea.
Mohammed Arabiat, Regional Sales Manager at Astronergy, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the company’s products and the latest solar energy technologies. Arabiat explained how to read solar panel specifications, decipher their codes and numbers, and offered valuable advice on selecting and installing the right panels for each project.
Arabiat underscored the importance of choosing the right port for delivering solar panels, comparing Jeddah Islamic Port, King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam, and King Abdullah Port. He highlighted how selecting a port closer to the project site can reduce shipping costs and delivery time. He also discussed the significance of intelligent logistics planning, including advanced planning for product delivery times, avoiding peak seasons, and monitoring export policies and supply chains.
Arabiat concluded his presentation by discussing Astronergy's extensive distribution network in Saudi Arabia, represented by Qsun, which covers the regions of Riyadh, Dammam, Qassim, and Jouf.
