In the 2024 solar module tender of China Huaneng Group, Astronergy was selected as the third candidate among seven shortlisted companies for the first bid.

Started in 1985, Huaneng Group is a state-owned company and leads the power industry with 124 thousand employees in China. This year its tender capacity is 15GW, with the first bid consisting of 13.5GW of n-type solar modules. This is Astronergy's fourth successful bid for the Group's procurement since 2020, bringing its cumulative winning capacity to 3.7GW.

Over the years, Astronergy has built a strong partnership with Huaneng Group, successfully landing projects across China. This year, Astronergy will support Huaneng Group's “1 Million PV + Air Storage” project by supplying 800MW of its ASTRO N5 modules. The project is expected to generate about 1.6 billion kWh of clean energy each year, showing the trust Huaneng Group has in Astronergy and its solar solutions.

Looking ahead, Astronergy aims to collaborate with global partners to explore the “Solar +” model, continually delivering high-performance solar products and solutions.
