Astronergy, a Tier-1 PV module manufacturer, announces its achievement in securing the Top 6 among all module manufacturers in 2023 BloombergNEF PV Module and Inverter Bankability report. This marks a significant improvement as the company ranked Top 7 in 2022.
Each year, BloombergNEF will conduct a survey engaging solar equipment buyers, banks, and technical due diligence providers on the bankability of global PV module and inverter companies.
The latest survey involves 28 key stakeholders from banks, funds, solar engineering contractors, independent power producers (IPPs), and technical advisers, with global coverage and involved in 646 GW of financed capacity. Almost all participants considered TOPCon PV modules bankable and BloombergNEF foresees TOPCon technology as the dominant cell technology in 2024.
As a pioneer in n-type TOPCon PV modules, Astronergy continues to propel the industry forward with a visionary approach. With a projected PV module capacity of 55GW, n-type TOPCon PV modules will constitute 81% of its total capacity in 2023. Looking forward to 2025, this proportion is anticipated to surge to 90%, with the expected module capacity hitting an impressive 100 GW.
This milestone stands as a testament to Astronergy's dedication to excellence and reinforces the company’s position as a trusted brand in the solar industry.
