Astronergy demonstrated its ASTRO N n-type TOPCon products during the two-day event from May 20th to May 21st at the 10th edition of Solar & Storage Live Philippines at the SMX Convention Center in Manila, Philippines.

With more than 300 exhibitors from across Asia and over 12,000 attendees at the event, Astronergy shared its rooftop solar project cases worldwide and n-type TOPCon PV module products that are suitable for rooftop application scenario.

ASTRO N modules are favored for rooftop projects because of their excellent technologies and highly practical designs. Adopting the company’s self-developed TOPCon 4.0 technology, the highest efficiency of Astronergy TOPCon cells in laboratory hits over 26.9%. With industry-leading technologies like light-redirecting film, non-destructive cutting and creative designs like half-cut cell design and large silicon wafers, ASTRO N modules are widely used in rooftop scenario.

At the event’s conferences on the topic of rooftop solar, Astronergy’s staff member presented a rooftop solar plant project powered by ASTRO N modules in Malaysia. The project installed a total capacity of 580W ASTRO N5 module products and is expected to save almost 14,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year with a total power generation of 18,000MWh.

According to The Department of Energy in the Philippines, the country will bring more than 4GW of new power generation capacity this year, of which almost 2GW will come from solar energy. This indicates a growing demand of solar energy in the Asian market, and Astronergy is ready to go.
