On May 30, Zhejiang Wenling Tidal-Solar Hybrid Intelligent PV Power Station, the first tidal-solar hybrid PV power station in China operated by China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited, CHN Energy, was completely connected to the national grid, with its 100MW module supplied by Astronergy.

Consisting of 185,000 Astronergy ASTRO 5 double-glass modules, the station features an installed capacity of 100MW and an annual power generation of over 100 million kWh. Compared with thermal power stations with the same capacity, it can save 31,654 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 84,479 tons on a yearly basis.
