With installation of 523.1MW Astronergy PV modules, the first phase of the world's largest hydro-solar power plant – Kela solar power plant, also the world's highest power station of its kind, started power generation in China on June 25. Kela PV power plant is located at the West Sichuan Plateau with the highest altitude of 4600 meters. It is constantly affected by extreme weather conditions such as strong winds, blizzards, and freezing, which places extremely high demands on the reliability and durability of PV modules. ASTRO 5 won the project in case of its great performance in providing quality assurance for the efficient, stable, and long-lasting operation of the power plant with their reliability, high efficiency, and other performance. With large proportion of Astronergy PV modules, the power plant could help to reduce the use of 600,000 tons of standard coal annually and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 1.6 million tons.

The Döllen 154.4MW solar farm, the Europe’s largest n-type TOPCon solar farm in Germany, was financed by the CEE Group and developed by Antlike Solar. The project construction started from May 2022, and finished its construction and connected to the grid in April 2023. Astronergy’s frontier TOPCon tech-powered ASTRO N5 solar panels play as one of the critical cores for the sustainability system. With installation of 154.4MW ASTRO N series n-type TOPCon PV modules, the 154.77MW power output of the solar farm is expected to generate around 160,000 MWh of green electricity annually. This significant output equates to powering around 36,000 four-person households with sustainable electricity.

Astronergy, in partnership with RCR Green, successfully powered the 7.2MW Ashburton Solar Farm in the Canterbury region of New Zealand using 11,750 pieces of ASTRO N5 n-type solar technology modules. Connected to the grid in early December, the innovative solar farm is expected to generate approximately 10,870.13 MWh of clean electricity annually to meet the needs of over 2,500 households. The project, with its dual purposes of land use, functions as a sheep-based agrivoltaic system and provides a fertile environment for both sheep grazing and crop cultivation.

The Almax Aluminium warehouse’s rooftop solar power station adopts an integrated form of photovoltaic building, combining 1688 ASTRO N n-type TOPCon PV modules with the warehouse roof. The total installed capacity of the power station exceeds 801kW, and the annual power generation can reach 1.2 million kWh, equivalent to reducing 1100 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year, which has considerable economic and green benefits. ASTRO N n-type TOPCon PV modules are the sharp weapons of Astronergy to create a sustainable and net-zero carbon world with solar power. Ever-developing TOPCon tech will enable the series of TOPCon PV modules to be one of the much stronger motives of Astronergy for a greener world that all humans dream of.

The solar rooftop project located on Via Certosa, Italy, is owned by Conofil SRL and features an installed PV capacity of 55kW. Utilizing 84 pieces of ASTRO N5s PV modules, this installation is scheduled for grid connection in April 2024.
